Having successfully launched our Cloud app, we came into 2017 with a mission to make ProForma available to customers using Jira Server. Our first server version became available in June, using an innovative technique to package the ProForma cloud add-on in a Docker container and offer it behind a firewall.
Earning Your Trust
Earning your confidence has been a big focus of our work in 2017. To that end, we:
- Expanded our support options so you can contact us directly from within the ProForma app or via our support portal
- Launched a Status Page for ProForma Cloud so you see the current status, uptime reports and any recent incidents for our primary components
- Implemented automated testing to ensure functionality and give us a heads up before problems reach you, our customers
- Earned approval for Atlassian Cloud Security Verification
New Friends and New Functionality
In September, we headed to Atlassian Summit San Jose, where we were proud to unveil ProForma 2.0, which allows you to set validation rules on any form field and makes it easy to automatically pipe form field data to Jira fields. This greatly expands your opportunities for aggregating and reporting on form data.
San Jose was also a great opportunity to network with other members of the Atlassian ecosystem. We’ve launched a partnership with Rachel Wright, author of the Jira Strategy Admin Workbook. We’ll be working with Rachel to share her Jira experience and expertise, and will be building some of her worksheets into ProForma forms for you to use.
Up Next for ThinkTilt
We have big plans for 2018 including the development of a native server plug-in for ProForma, continued expansion of our Template Library and adding more features to the form builder. And we’re always interested to hear your ideas for how we can help your business teams, so feel free to contact us with your suggestions.
